What Our Clients Think
I originally came to Liz Rawls for lower back pain and digestion issues. I was unable to stand for long periods without pain and weakness in my lower back. The lower back pain was resolved in a few visits but the digestion issues turned out to be colon cancer. Liz has walked with me on the healing journey from emergency surgery that removed over a foot of my colon including a malignant tumor. Through helping me network with other natural healthcare providers, I am healthier than I have ever been without chemo therapy or radiation at this point. Her care has also lessened the effects of menopause. I would wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat or be sitting in a public place and become soaked. I no longer have these issues. My anxiety level from a cancer diagnosis has decreased tremendously. I trust Liz and I value her opinions. If she doesn’t know an answer-she helps me find the right person who does. She is one of the kindest, most gentle people I have ever met and I would not feel as amazing as I do today without her care.
My struggles with depression and PTSD were really affecting my life. I was having problems with sleeping, nightmares, suicidal impulses, and severe anxiety. A person I know suggested that I try acupuncture. Liz’s treatments are effective in actually treating the problem and not merely trying to address the symptoms. She gets to the actual issue and does not avoid it like so many other forms of “healing” do. I get the distinct impression from her that she really does care about the health and well-being of her clients. She has a genuine interest in their welfare. Working with Liz has helped me a lot. Along with addressing my mental and emotional health complaints, she has also helped with my physical health through her suggestions for my diet. I try to avoid sugar and fried foods. She advised me to avoid both sugar and fried and my sinus allergies have cleared up which is helping me sleep better. As a result of working with Liz, I am much closer to the feeling of peace and calm that I sought when I first agreed to try acupuncture.
I was completely miserable in my job. My health was failing. I wasn’t sure if I was having a breast cancer recurrence because my bones were aching. I was certain that I had some sort of digestive disease because the number of foods I could tolerate shrunk to a handful. I went to my GP and to specialists. I was so worn out that many nights I came home and immediately went to bed. On weekends, I’d wake up at 11:00 and go back down (for at least four-hours) when my son went down for his nap at 1:00. The reality was it was only a matter of time before my body broke down completely. I went to Liz to see if I could get some relief for my GI issues. She sat with me while I explained what I’d been going through. She let me cry it out and then said, “I can help you.” Not only did my energy return, did my foggy thinking get clearer and my GI issues completely went away, I also quit my soul crushing job! As I’ve been navigating building my own business working with Liz has kept me calm, focused and healthy.
